How much should you weigh?

To be honest, there is no specific weight you should be in. People often confuse the ideal weight with the must-be weight. Your ideal weight is the weight you see best for you.

Some people tend to like being bodybuilders, this means that they will have a heavier weight than normal people. If you tell this to a bodybuilder that you should weigh 50kgs in relation to your height, they will probably laugh at you!

Your ideal weight is something that you would look good at, have good health and no diseases. If you like being obese, that’s fine and we totally respect that. But, it’s not what is ideal for you. Your ideal weight is going to be lower.

Ideal Weight Variables

Gender: In most cases, males are going to be heavier than females. The reason behind that is they have bigger muscle mass due to testosterone hormone. Also, males are somehow taller in general than females.

Height: The taller you are, the more you are going to weigh. Because you will have more muscles, taller bones and bigger structure.
