Turmeric tea is a popular drink throughout Asia and is known as “Golden Milk”. The benefits of turmeric are mainly due to the active compound called curcumin. Curcuma is a powerful antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory action.

- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tablespoon ghi oil
- 1 tablespoon natural honey
- 1 tablespoon turmeric (powdered, grated root or food supplement)
- Pour coconut milk and water into a saucepan and heat for 2 minutes.
- Add butter, raw honey and turmeric powder for another 2 minutes.
- Stir and pour in cups.
Turmeric as a spice has a low potent active substance (curcumin) – between 2-7% bioactivity.
To get even greater benefits from the slimming tea, you can use the turmeric tablets by dissolving the contents of the capsules in the filtered water instead of the spice.
