The ingredients in the recipe for protein pancake will charge you with energy for a long time, thanks to complex carbohydrates from sources like oats, flax and carob.

Egg and protein powder will add up protein to your daily calorie intake – an ingredient that is often severely restricted in the “modern menu”.

Ingredients

Pancakes

  • 30g Oat flour
  • 5g Flax flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1g Stevia
  • 1 Vanilla
  • 1 Baking powder
  • 50 ml. Water
  • 2-3 Drops of rum

Filling

  • 1 Dose of protein powder
  • 40 ml. Water

Topping

  • 5g Carob flour (or cocoa)
  • Very little water

Recipe

  • All pancake ingredients are mixed and left for 30-60 minutes.
  • Part of the mixture is poured into a pre-heated pan and to obtain between 2-3 pancakes.
  • For pancake spraying you need 1 dose of protein of your choice, taste and little water, the goal is to make the density of liquid chocolate and then smear the pancakes.

This protein pancake will give your body a decent amount of high quality protein, along with carbohydrates and a fair amount of healthy fats.

It is a perfect meal for breakfast, as it will kick-start your day nutrition wise, but you can also use it after a workout to benefit the recovery of the damaged musculature.
